Sign-up for SchoolMessenger Text Messages

FHSD and all schools in the District use a variety of communication channels to share important school information with parents/guardians. FHSD uses the SchoolMessenger Notification System to provide timely communication to parents about emergencies, weather related closures, attendance, and other messages that are closely related to the mission of our schools.

New for the 2017-18 school year, FHSD parents will be able to select SMS or text message notification
if they have a text-capable mobile number on record with the District. Parents can now “opt-in” to receive FHSD text messages by texting “Y” to 67587.

On Friday, Sept. 15, all FHSD parents and guardians who have not opted-in will receive a one-time text from 67587 requesting you to opt-in to receive important text messages from your child’s school and the District. The text will read “Francis Howell School District messages. Reply Y to confirm, HELP 4 info. Msg&data rates may apply. Msg freq varies. schoolmessenger.com/tm.”

Parents can always change their SchoolMessenger contact preferences at any time by using the
SchoolMessenger's Info Center or the SchoolMessenger App.
